Online Payments!

  • All registration payments will be processed online only. BFA will cover the cost of the transaction fees.

Referral Rewards!

  • For every NEW* Bloomington family you refer to BFA, receive  a $25 Dicks gift card! No limit on referrals.
  • Referred individual must list your name as “referral source” in their registration process. Rewards will be issued after games have started in May.
    * New player: an individual that resides in or attends school in Bloomington who has not registered or played for BFA at any time prior to the upcoming season.

Family Discount!

  • Families who have multiple children in the BFA program will receive a 15% discount for each additional registered player.
  • Discount will be provided at the lowest age levels of the family with refunds to be issued after games have started in May.

Financial Assistance Program!

  • BFA seeks to provide a recreation program for traveling fastpitch sports participants. This policy establishes a program which may provide financial assistance in the form of a need-based scholarship equal to up to 50% of the player registration fees.
  • If you would like to apply for financial assistance, you must complete the FA Application and then contact the Board Treasurer Tiffany Shermak prior to registration completion.

Uniform Try-On Dates

Thurs, Feb 22 - 6 - 9pm @ Jefferson HS - North Lunchroom
Sun, Mar 4 - 6 - 8pm @ Jefferson Activity Center - Main Foyer

* You must attend a try-on event for uniform sizing. Uniform cost is included in your registration fee. 
* Please bring your $250 volunteer deposit  check if you did not choose the buyout option. (Reminder: Your child will not be allowed to practice with the team until we receive a volunteer deposit.)


Player Evaluations

In order for your child to be placed on a team where she and the team can be the most successful, it is important that everyone attend evaluations. You must attend evaluations to be placed on the advanced team.

10U - 12U 
Sun, Feb 25th @ Jefferson Activity Center
10U ~ 12-3pm
12U ~ 3-5pm
Pitchers and catchers ~ 6 -7:30pm (warm up from 5-6pm)

8U  
Sun, Mar 4th @ Jefferson Activity Center
6 - 8pm

14/16/18U
Registration numbers are needed to determine number of teams/age levels. If needed, evaluations will be in the Spring.
