Clutch Hitters Community Outreach Program

Clutch Hitters led by John Barta and Jim Hanson have created a new outreach program as a way of giving back to our local communities. The plan is to incorporate 3 or 4 events a year that our players have a chance to sign up and volunteer time and care in making people's lives better. "I have always said that I think we have the greatest kids in our program. I think its past time that we go out and show that by giving back to our local people in need" Jim Hanson

Last project- Food drive for Hunger, 1/2-1/16 Food was delivered to the Open Door project in Eagan Thursday, January 17th. We donated over 320 ponds of food.

Past project- from December 2018, Toy Drive over 165 toys collected, worth over $3,000. Delivered to The Childrens Hospital in Mpls

2017 Over 300 toys collected for Children's Hospital in Minneapolis

On two different days in 2018 our teams worked Feed My Starving Children in Chanhassen

Please feel free to contact John with any idea's that you may have.

Fill the Christmas Tree

2018 we raised over 165 toys valued at $3250. Special thanks to the MN Sting who contributed many of the 165 toys this past year along with their contributions in 2017.

2017 Clutch Hitters combined with many other Club softball teams managed to donate over 300 toys to the children's hospital for kids in need, valued at $4,500
